Sri Lanka, April 23 — Dan Priyasad died from gunshot wounds after being shot around 9:10 p.m. at the Laksanda Sevana apartment building on the upper level in Wellampitiya on Wednesday (22).
As per the reports, two unknown persons on a motorbike arrived, fired shots at the place, and then escaped from the area.
The initial police investigation determined that a handgun-style weapon was utilized during the incident.
Priyasad was critically injured in the shooting and was initially reported dead by the Police Media Spokesperson last night. However, a subsequent statement clarified that he was still alive but in critical condition and receiving treatment at the hospital.
This morning, the Police Media Division reported that Dan Priyasad passed away while undergoing medical treatment.
