Gombe Governor Joins APC Governors’ Meeting in Abuja – Exclusive International Edition

On Wednesday, Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya attended a meeting in Abuja alongside other governors who were also elected under the banner of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).

The gathering of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF), led by its chairman and Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, centered around topics related to the well-being of the party and progress towards national advancement.

Following the conclusion of the private meeting, Governor Uzodinma addressed the media and mentioned that the attendees reiterated their unified backing for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s initiatives. They also conveyed their dedication to bolstering the cohesion and advancement within the APC party.

“We discussed issues bordering on the well-being of our great party and the development of the country,” Governor Uzodinma said.“We are strongly behind the policies of Mr. President, and we believe they are already yielding positive results.”

The chairman further disclosed that the APC is continually gaining momentum, observing that several politicians who initially did not campaign with the APC banner are now becoming part of the party, drawn by its citizen-focused platforms.

“During the gathering, we celebrated because several of our associates who weren’t nominated under the APC ticket now appreciate our party’s beneficial policies and are deciding to join us. This is a positive sign for both our democratic process and our organization,” he remarked.
