In his attempt to present Josh Little with the “Catch of the Match” accolade, he mistakenly referred to the tournament as the “HBL IPL,” rather than calling it the correct term, “HBL PSL.”
The gaffe rapidly gained widespread attention, prompting social media users to inundate various platforms with an abundance of memes and jokes. Enthusiasts playfully poked fun at Raja over the error, with several suggesting he might want to transition to covering IPL matches or perhaps consider retiring from commentary altogether.
Even with the circumstances, the Multan Sultans put forth an exciting display of cricket. Yasir Khan struck an impressive 87 from just 44 deliveries, complemented by Rizwan’s contribution of 32 runs. This led the Sultans to set a new mark of 228/5 at the Multan Cricket Stadium.
