: The Governorship aspirant of Labour Party in the Anambra state Governorship election come November 8, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu has said that Supreme Court ruling of 4th April, 2025 was definitive on the leadership of the party and that he hopes that INEC will do the needful for the process to continue.
Nwosu in an interview with journalists, however, believed that the primary election of 5th April is null and void while that of 10th April should be upheld, except that the issue of a place holder is extraneous to the established process.
He re- emphasised that as a firm believer in due process and rule of law he remains in the race for the candidacy and that after the Easter holidays are over, the Senator Nenadi Usman leadership will, make a pronouncement.
On his next move, Nwosu said he is a team player and hoped the issues would not lead to litigation.“But if push comes to shove, I am ready to exhaust all remedies”, he concluded.
