He stated, “Stephen’s versatility as a director stands unrivaled. Over the past forty years, he has helmed many cherished movies, several of which hold a special place in my heart. Having him lead this project feels like a fantasy turned real. Working alongside our collaborators at wiip has been profoundly rewarding. The narrative required grandeur, complexity, and audacity; I’m thrilled that we’ve assembled an exceptional ensemble to realize it for viewers worldwide.”
